SUMMARY:
The Global Controller for Dermalogica leads all global financial, accounting, consolidation, and control functions. Reporting to the CFO, this role safeguards financial integrity, ensures compliance with Unilever accounting and control standards, and delivers critical insights that shape strategic decisions and global growth.
You will strengthen the financial backbone of a premium beauty brand-driving accuracy, transparency, and governance-while enabling Dermalogica's expansion and enterprise-wide strategic priorities within the Unilever ecosystem.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Leadership & Development: Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training team members to build a high-performing global finance function.
Work Planning & Oversight: Assigning, directing, and coordinating work to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to reporting timelines.
Performance Management: Appraising performance, providing feedback, recognizing achievements, and addressing performance issues as appropriate.

Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensuring all team activities comply with corporate policies, internal controls, and local/international financial regulations.
The Global Controller serves as a strategic partner to senior finance and executive leadership, driving operational excellence, financial integrity, and strong governance across all global finance operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and oversee all general accounting and finance operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and reconciliations.
Lead and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely, accurate and consolidated financial reporting for Dermalogica (global & entity level).
Prepare and publish consolidated financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS as relevant) and internal group policies.
Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control environment, accounting policies and procedures across all operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Oversee cash management, treasury activities, intercompany settlements, and working capital management to optimize liquidity and support business needs.
Coordinate and manage external audits (statutory, global consolidation), liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders; ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Provide financial analysis, reporting, and decision-support to senior leadership (CFO, Executive Team), supporting strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and business initiatives
Streamline the chart of accounts, financial close processes, reporting procedures, and consolidation framework across all Dermalogica entities globally.
Lead and manage the US accounting team - hiring, mentoring, performance management, and ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration (e.g., with sales, marketing, supply chain, HR).
Support financial aspects of business transformation initiatives, system implementations (ERP, accounting systems), process improvements, and integration efforts in line with Unilever's standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree (MBA) or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification
Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance in a multinational environment, including several years in a senior controller or leadership role.
Proven experience with multi-entity consolidation, intercompany accounting, and global accounting operations.
Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP, IFRS where relevant), internal controls, audit and compliance processes.
Experience with ERP/financial reporting systems; familiarity with global finance systems and enterprise-scale consolidation frameworks is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - able to translate complex accounting issues into business-relevant insights for senior leaders and stakeholders.
Strong leadership and people-management skills, with demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and build a high-performing global finance team.

REPORTING & ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE
This role reports directly to the CFO of Dermalogica. The Global Controller will lead the U.S. finance and accounting organization, overseeing key functions including accounting operations, consolidation, and intercompany accounting. In addition, the Global Controller will provide direction, oversight, and technical guidance to finance teams across Dermalogica's global subsidiaries, ensuring alignment, consistency, and compliance with corporate standards worldwide.
The position is based at the corporate headquarters in Carson, CA, with hybrid on site work guidelines. The expected annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000.

As Program Manager, Corporate Investigations and Internal Control, you will lead critical initiatives across Corporate Investigations, Forensic Analysis, Internal Audit, and Internal Control, with a strong focus on leveraging AI technologies and advanced data tools such as PowerBI to design and manage dashboards that deliver actionable insights and strengthen risk oversight.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare bench scale batches following established formulas and SOPs
Support stability setup including labeling, documentation, and sample placement
Accurately record batch data, observations, and deviations

The Assistant Merchant, Levi's Global Men's Bottoms supports the overall execution of assigned global product categories, ensuring data accuracy and sample management. Your support helps enable the global product strategy, assortment architecture, and seasonal line plans for your designated apparel category. You will report to and partner with a Senior Merchant, Levi's Global Men's Bottoms.
About the Job
* Manage assigned product categories, developing line plans and strategies that increase growth and meet key performance indicators. Play an active role in decision-making that impacts product assortment, pricing, and overall business performance.
* Ensure data-entry integrity and maintenance of seasonal product integrity in product management systems.
* Responsible for sample management and organization for assigned global product categories.
* Contribute to some aspects of Product Development activities as determined by the Senior Merchant.
* Be a conduit of information, materials and samples to cluster merchandising and cross-functional teams.
* Create line plans and communicate plans with cross-functional business partners.
* Assist Senior Merchant in preparation for product performance reviews and sell-out reports.
* Help with targeted consumer and competitor research through market shopping and fashion publications.
About You
* 3+ years of experience at an apparel manufacturer or retailer with a high-volume business and wholesale merchandising responsibilities
* Extract insights, ensure accurate reporting to support category strategy and track KPIs using MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
* Take initiative and drive a business and merchandising strategy forward with ensure smooth execution of product strategies
* Consumer-centric, you represent and always aim to better understand our customer's needs
* Bachelor's degree in related discipline
This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $68,900-$91,900 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
