In addition, if you agree to practice medicine in Iowa for at least four years after finishing the program, you may be eligible to receive a full-tuition scholarship. To enhance your college life, Des Moines University offers a number of professional and recreational student clubs that you can join. To begin your journey to a career as a doctor of osteopathic medicine, you can apply today. Admissions requirements include having earned a BA or BS from an accredited institution with a science and cumulative GPA of 3.0. Applicants are also required to have taken the MCAT and provide documentation of prior exposure to medicine by a health care provider.
