Specific areas of responsibility include all floors and the grounds adjoining the assigned building. Schedule: Friday and Saturday, 8:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. with 1 hour lunch, Sunday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. with 1 hour lunch. Schedules may differ dependent upon time of year.

EDUCATION

Responsibilities
Dispose of trash.
Clean common living space including appliances.
Empty cigarette urns and clean as necessary.
Sweep, dust mop, and wet mop areas.
Vacuum and shampoo carpeted areas.
Clean fountains, ashtrays, and blackboards.
Dust and/or wash areas requiring same.
Clean bathrooms to include all sinks, counters, toilets, showers, mirrors, and replenish supplies.
Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
Wash windows and door glass.
Clean laundry rooms to include washers and dryers, sinks, and counters.
Clean apartments at the end of each semester or when vacated.
Strip and refinish floors and maintain all types of floor surfaces.
Sweep stairs and stairwells and wash same.
Remove ice and snow from stairs, entrances, and walks.
Wash walls, window ledges, woodwork, furnishings; remove graffiti.
Replace light bulbs and tubes; clean light fixtures.
Keep area stocked with cleaning supplies; submit supply and repair requisitions to Supervisor.
Check exterior areas for trash, broken glass, etc., and clean up as necessary.
Keep housekeeping equipment clean and perform minor repairs on same.
Respond to calls requesting clean up as needed.
When leaving buildings, responsible for seeing that buildings are properly secured.
Perform minor repairs of housekeeping equipment.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up areas for special events as requested.
Function as an attendant at special College events.
