Description: The Product Design Engineering position is a Mechanical Engineer that works to create sold order designs. They may also be tasked with other general work tasks not specifically covered under the Product Design Engineering job description. Requirements: Essential Functions of Position: · Provide technical support in the form of design calculations and adherence to project specifications, codes, and standards. · Create and revise CAD drawings, and 3D models for project approval and in-house fabrication. · Work with the project manager to maintain, document, and communicate project schedules. · Communicate daily with internal and external customers. · Create Bill of Materials · Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and work with vendors and contractors. · Develop and maintain detailed documentation to track project development and design process. · Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: CAD and Inventor experience Associates degree in relevant field with related work experience. Knowledge of how mechanical systems and processes work. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional organizational and time management skills Excellence in verbal and written communication and ability to work as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors in mechanical engineering 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment completing Engineering design work 3-5 years working in Inventor or SolidWorks Previous Epicor (ERP) Experience Physical Requirements: Required to sit, stand, and walk; for up to 8 hours per day. Continuous use of the hand, arm, and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
