The Role We Want You For
The construction Project Engineer will be based on the construction project site and will service our clients in a multi-state region and may even travel across the country. You will have the opportunity to build large, complicated, iconic design-build projects $30 million and above. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for taking projects from conceptual stages through closeout.
The Specifics of the Role
Build client and subcontractor relationships.
Team with Architects, Engineers, and Planners to create and manage a design schedule.
Assist in the establishment of project forecasts and budgets.
Manage costs.
Accept responsibility for project execution.
Mentor and develop Interns and new incoming project management staff.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related.
0 to 5 years of experience managing construction projects, ideally design-build.
Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
Previous experience on a successful project management team.
Ability to walk a job site, climb ladders, and scale multi-floor scaffolding.
Ability to lift objects of at least 50 lbs.

Such improvements include root cause failure analysis, optimization of maintenance programs in rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, etc.), and troubleshooting fixed equipment (refinery pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems, etc.). Reliability Engineers will also be continuously challenged to find new technology in design, materials and repair methods to achieve refinery goals of longer running times at lower costs.

We're seeking a Project Engineer ready to be on the front lines of a project--giving daily support to the field, project management, and customer teams. Our Project Engineers (PE) are vital in keeping our processes moving along and assists in the execution of project plans. This role will be responsible for specific activities such as coordinating material onsite delivery dates, maintaining RFI, submittals, and change order logs, and will serve as a key point of contact for internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
1. **What You Will Do:**
+ Successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects by managing resources, risks, and technical baselines
+ Collaborate across technical teams and ensure project milestones are met with precision and quality
+ Facilitate technical review meetings, document, and communicate decision to stakeholders
+ Support Configuration Management, Risk/Issue/Opportunity, and Scheduling processes
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
+ Experience with ServiceNow with emphasis on HelpNow.
+ Experience with Atlassian tools emphasis on Confluence and Jira
+ **An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.**

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business Administration (Accounting, Management or Finance), Construction Management or related field. Equivalent experience in a construction-related position will also be considered.
Must be willing to travel and relocate. Project sites are located domestically and internationally, so relocation and/or travel are required.

Responsibilities
High level of involvement in the operations of our cost control system and analysis of construction costs.
Participate in monthly forecasting revenue and costs accruals.
Accumulate all necessary data and prepare monthly pay estimates.
Process and estimate change orders and Requests for Information as directed by Project Manager.
Coordinate and schedule shop drawings and submittals.
Maintain a complete and current record of submittals, approvals, and resubmittals, including a file of letters of transmittal and dates of each transaction.
Process/manage material deliveries - ensure that materials received are properly inspected for quantity and quality and in compliance with Contract documents.
Manage and negotiate subcontractor and material contracts.
Assist in developing and updating project schedule.
Work closely with field construction personnel (Superintendents, Foremen and Crews).
