Akkodis is seeking a seasoned ASIC Layout Design Engineer to join our clients RF Analog ASIC Development team. This is a 9-month contract with possible extension or conversion to direct hire, The project is focused on spinning an existing ADB converter design. In this position you will join a fast-paced team developing new, cutting-edge firmware for Solidigm Solid State Drives (SSD). As a Firmware Engineer your regular responsibilities include but are not limited to:

As a principal mechanical team member, you will be responsible for mechanical designs from initial concept design through requirements definition, detailed design, simulation, analysis, manufacturing, testing, qualification, and in-orbit support of Cesium's products. Required skills and experience include thermal management design, precision machining principles, thermal simulation and analysis, shock and vibration simulation and analysis, electromagnetic interference/compatibility (EMI/EMC) mitigation techniques, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), finite element analysis (FEA), and cost analysis to develop, validate, and optimize mechanical designs. Principal engineers also serve as technical and professional mentors in their field.
The successful candidate will also present engineering design review materials to our customers and executive team, as well as participate in proposal-writing efforts. As such, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

We are hiring immediately for an Aerospace Engineer - GNC who is passionate about working with spacecraft. This position will be hybrid, but the person we hire will need to live on the Front Range and be able to come into the Westminster, CO office three or more days per week.
The Navigation Systems team members are responsible for orbit determination, orbit prediction, orbit maintenance, and collision-avoidance operations, as well as the associated software development for Vantor's Earth Intelligence spacecraft constellation. Navigation Systems team members also support orbit design, development, integration, and testing of Vantor's next-generation spacecraft. As a Navigation Systems Engineer, you will work as part of larger multi-disciplinary teams that include spacecraft system engineers, ground system engineers, software engineers, and spacecraft operations teams.
In this role, you will demonstrate knowledge or experience in satellite Guidance, Navigation, and Control Systems (GNC). You will work to develop cloud-enabled navigation services while improving the underlying functionality of the service / scientific core.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be a U.S. citizen and willing/able to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
