Support development and implementation of equipment maintenance strategies that improve reliability and comply with applicable codes and standards. Identify and help resolve operational reliability issues to enhance plant performance. Generate Management of Change (MOC) documentation and maintain unit records, tabulations, and drawings. Develop basic engineering packages for plant improvement projects. Perform thickness calculations per API 510 and API 570. Participate in Turnarounds and other planned outages as needed. Required Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word. Strong interpersonal communication skills, including technical presentations and consulting. Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to provide sound recommendations. Education & Experience: Bachelor of Science (or higher) degree in Mechanical Engineering required. 1-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer. Experience with large static equipment (vessels, piping, exchangers, heaters, etc.) required. Knowledge of Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Programs a plus. Familiarity with ASME and API codes preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders/stairs, and work at heights. Ability to enter confined spaces (with proper training/permits). Lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds occasionally. Normal hearing and vision (close, distance, depth perception, focus). Must wear required PPE: hardhat, safety glasses, FRC, gloves, steel-toed boots, hearing and respiratory protection as needed. Working Conditions: Work performed in both office and plant/field environments. Exposure to outdoor weather, loud noise, fumes, chemicals, and moving equipment. May require extended hours, nights, weekends, or holidays during Turnarounds or outages. Travel to client sites may be required.
