Responsibilities * Collaborate with the Lead Project Engineer to transform new product ideas into prototype or pilot designs. * Use 3D tools for digital prototyping. * Develop 3D design models based on concepts, sketches, or previous designs. * Conceptualize sheet metal designs using 2D or 3D tools, ensuring proper tolerancing. * Propose assembly or fabrication techniques and develop the product's mechanical and physical attributes. * Present or co-present model designs for technical or design reviews. * Prepare comprehensive document packages for manufacturing release, including assembly drawings, Bills-of-materials, and machine files. Essential Skills * Proficiency in design, 3D modeling, and CAD software. * Experience in the electrical-mechanical products space for over 3 years. * Expertise in both 2D and 3D modeling software. * Experience with 3D CAD, Creo, or SolidWorks/Inventor. * Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.
