QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in machine design, automated machinery, or robotic systems
Background in automation, robotics, or custom machine design for regulated industries (medical machine design)
Understanding of FDA or ISO standards as they apply to manufacturing equipment
Proficiency with CAD design tools and familiarity with automation systems, PLCs, and robotics
Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex concepts clearly
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

The Design Drafter will create and maintain designs, layouts, drawings, and documentation required for product lines, which include motors, generators and magnetic drives. Major Areas of Accountability:
Engineering Work: Must be an enthusiastic self starter, able to organize and pursue broad objectives, and have the ability to manage multiple, changing priorities. Performs assigned drafting tasks under supervision, including creating 2D drawings and 3D models from sketches, layouts, creating bill of materials, or marked-up prints. Ensures drawings are accurate, clear, and meet established drafting standards.

Learning & Development: Builds knowledge of company drafting practices, product designs, and applicable standards.
