Job Description Senior Tailings Engineer Reports To: Manager, Tailings Management The Senior Tailings Engineer (STE) serves as a technical specialist within the Corporate Tailings Management Team (CTMT), providing engineering expertise, standards implementation, and technical oversight across all Company operations. This role is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of tailings and waste rock management standards and procedures, conducting technical reviews of designs, evaluating solutions for technical issues, and coordinating with site teams and Engineers of Record to ensure consistent application of best practices and corporate standards. The Senior Tailings Engineer will have an opportunity to influence and drive technical decisions pertaining to tailings and waste rock management at all of the company's operating sites and will gain experience with both filtered and conventional tailings storage techniques. They will also have the opportunity to work with multiple Engineers of Record, giving them the opportunity to learn from a broad range of technical perspectives. This position includes 25-50% of travel to various mine sites in North America.
