Requirements QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 3+ years of experience developing manufacturing processes for machining, welding and/or electromechanical assembly. Experience with manufacturing processes to include CNC machining, paint, coating, plating, welding, heat treating, inspection and assembly. Detailed understanding of GD&T and experience interpreting detailed engineering drawings. Experience with project management responsibilities. 3+ years of experience in a defense/aerospace related job shop environment is preferred. BS in Mechanical, Quality, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering discipline or 5+ years of equivalent on the job training and experience. Proficiency in MS Office Products Demonstrated proficiency in Solidworks. Experience with SolidWorks and CAM software a plus especially CAMworks. FLSA: Exempt Job Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, design, and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing firearm product designs while providing budgetary estimates for equipment, tools, gages, and production rate. Use project management techniques to procure tooling and equipment for new products to meet launch timelines and cost targets. Identify areas for improvement and conduct formal cost savings analysis using established procedures. Determine problem resolutions and implement improvements to quality and throughput. Evaluate and improve product designs for manufacturability while applying GD&T and dimensional stack-ups.
