The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and managing electrical designs and drawings for building and infrastructure projects in accordance with industry codes, client specifications, and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop electrical design drawings including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, communication, and grounding systems using AutoCAD/Revit or other relevant software. Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, voltage drop, and coordination studies. Ensure designs meet NEC, NFPA, IEEE, local building codes, and client-specific standards. Collaborate with civil, structural, and mechanical engineers to coordinate all building systems. Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and material specifications. Provide technical support during construction, including responding to RFIs and conducting site inspections. Prepare design documentation including schematics, schedules, and specifications. Attend project meetings, site visits, and coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed. Ensure all designs are cost-effective, energy-efficient, and constructible. Participate in value engineering and identify opportunities for design optimization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent). Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT preferred (or equivalent certification based on region). 3-7 years of electrical design experience in the construction industry (buildings, infrastructure, or industrial projects). Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software such as ETAP, SKM, or similar. Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IEC). About the Role Abridge is in hyperscale mode, and we are looking for highly experienced Senior and Staff SREs to dramatically improve the performance, stability, and scalability of our systems.
