The Electrical Engineer (Controls) is responsible for executing the electrical engineering scope on moderate to large industrial projects. This includes leading design efforts, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing technical and financial aspects of projects, and ensuring successful delivery through all phases of design and construction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead moderate to large-sized electrical and controls projects, providing technical direction and decision-making on complex issues
Coordinate with multi-discipline design teams to deliver complete, high-quality construction documents
Develop power and controls drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation
Perform engineering calculations, studies, detailed designs, reports, and design reviews
Design and review complex control systems including PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, control panels, control narratives, cause & effect diagrams, and network architectures
Design and support electrical power systems including high, medium, and low voltage systems, switchgear, MCCs, drives, emergency power, service entrances, and power distribution
Manage project scope changes, identify risks, and support development of mitigation strategies
Oversee internal staff and external contractors while maintaining schedule and financial control
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, vendors, and contractors
Provide field support during construction as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
5+ years of related electrical engineering experience
Industrial electrical control systems and/or power system design experience
Direct experience supporting industrial facilities
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, API, and AGA recommended practices
Understanding of electrical area classification (hazardous areas)
Experience with AutoDesk software; CadWorx Electrical experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Experience with arc flash hazard analysis and electrical equipment upgrades
Field experience supporting projects during construction
Broad electrical background including controls systems and/or motor control centers

Job Summary:
The Project Engineer will coordinate and manage engineering and technical development projects to support our construction operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Oversees various aspects of workflow, staffing, budget allocation, and scheduling supporting our construction operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Collaborates with project staff to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project.
* Facilitates and contributes to the development of project plans and designs.
* Recommends and/or analyzes materials, equipment, and practices used in the project.
* Assesses the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors.
* Submittals, correspondence, technical support, planning, scheduling to support construction operations.
* Compares the actual cost of development project to estimates.
* Prepares periodic progress and cost reports for leadership.
* Ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
* Collaborates with the operations department to identify and troubleshoot problems.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Overview
Oak View Group has an exciting opening for a HVAC Engineer at Enmarket Arena. This position maintains all HVAC aspects of the Enmarket Arena during events and non-event days. This position also helps to control and monitor all Enmarket Arena mechanical systems throughout the facility.
This role pays an hourly rate of $26.00-$30.00

This position will remain open until March 20, 2026.
Responsibilities
Under guidance from the Chief Engineer, performs preventative maintenance and repairs on all Enmarket Arena mechanical systems including, but not limited to building chillers, ice plant, pumps, boilers, air handlers and all other building assets as needed.
Installing, maintaining, and repairing all Enmarket Arena mechanical systems.
Reading technical diagrams and blueprints.
Troubleshooting building systems using appropriate testing devices.
Repairing and replacing equipment, plumbing equipment, and fixtures.
As scheduled, assists in operating the Enmarket Arena during the event and non-event modes as efficiently as possible
Assist with Zamboni maintenance and ice maintenance during event and non-event days.
Operates and maintains equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, ariel lifts, Zamboni, hand tools, power tools, pickup truck, etc.
Maintain all aspects of the CMMS preventative maintenance and repair system.
Assists as needed in all areas of operations.
Nonessential Job Functions:
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must possess a demonstrated basic knowledge of methods, principles, and practices required for the operation, repair, and maintenance of all systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical codes.
Preferred but not required to understand LEED Certified Buildings and take initiatives toward it.
Must possess a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, and other related materials.
Must possess the ability to work effectively under pressure and stringent schedules and produce accurate results; must possess the ability to work independently and exercise proper judgment in routine matters.
Must possess the ability to maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, guests, and others encountered in the course of employment.
Must be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle.
Must have a related college/tech school degree or 3 years' experience in HVAC.
Must possess the ability to meet the physical demands of this job which include being able to access all areas of the facility, lifting and carrying up to sixty (60) pounds, moving, climbing, and working at various heights.
Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
