The Graphic Designer is responsible for following through on all customer graphics orders and will help with volume copying. In addition to effective conceptualization abilities, strong design skills, and technical expertise, the Graphic Designer must be highly collaborative by nature and must have demonstrated strengths in graphics design, project management, and communication.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in visual communication, graphic design, or a related field; at least two years of experience in graphic design or in the print industry, and is skilled in copyediting/proofreading and desktop publishing. RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops and maintains accurate customer files based on production work flow
Produces/designs, proofs, and updates materials for customer projects
Develops as a team player and is critical to the production process

QUALIFICATIONS

What You'll Do
The Designer - Substation is responsible for supporting substation design projects across the QISG platform by performing routine 2D/3D Physical and/or Protection & Control (P&C) design tasks. This role requires working knowledge of basic design techniques and industry procedures, with an emphasis on accuracy, standards compliance, and CAD proficiency.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong familiarity with substation materials, construction methods, and utility design standards. Utilize 3D and/or smart design software for substation design.

Essential Functions
Greet store customers in a helpful manner and supports store design walk-in needs
Schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers, while developing clientele through networking and referrals, as well as leads generated within the store
Providing tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for both residential and commercial projects.
Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions
Manage multiple, simultaneous customer projects through all phases with a high level of accuracy, timeliness and follow-up including consistent and concise communication to customers and others. Proficient and consistent use of company communication tools and emails are required
Collaborate, partner and communicate with store leadership and employees to manage projects from inquiry to installation, and achieve sales and other goals
Enthusiastically support all company initiatives and goals by modeling and coaching best practices with store employees
Engage in current and emerging design trends in your market
Responsible for understanding and utilizing design applications i.e.; Salesforce, proprietary Online Design Appointment Scheduler, MyProject
Perform other duties as assigned

Piping Designer II Company: CDI Engineering Solutions Develop PMCD's and/or P&ID's for the Utilities area compressor. Work will include required field work to reverse existing engineer piping systems though field sketches to produce record documents for Client.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop field sketches and PMCD layouts.
Communicate within assigned discipline and coordinate work with other disciplines.
Demonstrate a continuing consciousness of safety in daily activities, and implemented in work designed.
Mark up works in progress for others to draft (or CADD).
Perform related fundamental engineering support tasks such as line list and pulling of existing client engineering mechanical and process data.

Job Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent with basic drafting courses training from vo-tech or other applicable program with a minimum of seven years of technical work experience. As an alternative, a minimum of two years of education in an associate or bachelor's degree program for the relevant discipline and five years of experience.
Knowledge of Mechanical and Controls is also needed to properly represent required work scope.
Competent and experienced with design codes, specifications, and standards.
Must demonstrate a sound understanding of design concepts with minimum engineering input.
Knowledge of PMCD/P&ID development.
5 years min. as a Piping Designer, in plant experience is not required but extensive field knowledge is a must.
