In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, all interns will participate in an intern group project dedicated to a critical business initiative as well as be exposed to all areas of our business and our brands. Leadership seminars and career exploration series connect our interns to our leaders and educate around different career paths. Intern performance will be assessed using out internal review process and could potentially lead to a full-time offer.

Primary responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Support the Men or Women's Design team with the development of product from inception to floor Research market trends and concepts that support the brand identity Support in creating fit, fabric, finish, and trim developments Assist team with sketches, tech packs and maintaining data entry and product line sheets Cultivate relationships and effectively communicate to cross-functional partners including Merchandising and Product Development

Requirements for the Internship:
High school diploma or GEDMust be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program Must be in junior year (rising senior at time of internship) with a graduation date of spring 2024Demonstrates passion for apparel industry and product knowledge Computer literacy including proficiency with MS Office applications Knowledge and proficiency with Adobe Illustrator & PhotoshopGood working knowledge of garment construction

Position Overview Autodesk is looking for an intern to join a highly collaborative Experience Design team for the summer. The Platform Services and Emerging Technologies (PSET) organization enables Autodesk product teams and Autodesk customers to accelerate outcomes by providing a trusted platform of shared and enabling capabilities. PSET XD teams partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to deliver front end web-based experiences, APIs, services, and infrastructure that our customers and developers use to access, manage, and extend the capabilities of Autodesk's design and make software. The Experience Design (XD) team within PSET includes interaction design, visual design, research, and content strategy.
Responsibilities Visualize and prototype intended solutions at various levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes or mock-ups to conceptual presentations to highly technical documents and diagrams. Collaborate closely with one or more local or remote Agile Scrum teams, working iteratively to deliver customer value. Use customer insights that come from analytics and customer interactions to help inform business and design decisions.
Help develop and conduct usability tests and other customer research. Run competitive analyses to identify industry best practices or key capabilities related to specific projects. Minimum Qualifications Full-time student, pursuing a BS, MS or PhD in user experience design, human-computer interaction, information science, data science, or a related field. You have profound empathy for people and want to create the best experiences, even in apparently mundane tasks.
You are an enthusiastic collaborator, able to work with people from different disciplines to get the job done. You are a systems thinker who is as interested in what is happening behind the screens as in crafting the interaction experience. You're excited about digging into the design process alongside other experience designers, researchers, and content strategists, working on real projects while receiving guidance and feedback from senior members of our Experience Design team. We would especially love to talk with you if you have these qualifications:
Experience with Figma and/or other current design tools. A portfolio of work that demonstrates your user experience design process and skills. Hands-on knowledge of qualitative or quantitative research and analysis. About the U.S. Intern Program The 2023 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 22 - August 11 or June 12 - September 1). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March. We currently seeking a highly motivated, forward-thinking, problem solving student with an opportunity for a paid internship position in the Substation Electrical Design team where you will learn about designing Substations.
Essential Functions:

Support Designers with detailed engineering designs using computer-aided techniques Develop final detailed design packages with an experienced Designer for projects through discussions and meetings with appropriate engineering & construction personnel, design disciplines, and outside vendors Assist Designers in preparing conceptual designs and sketches based on field investigations, project scope, and engineering criteria supplied by project/discipline engineers Perform field visits with a Designer during the design process to verify site conditions, resolve field issues and verify the accuracy of the design Perform technical calculations for substantiating designs Prepare and maintain bills of materials and other supporting documents associated with the design drawing development Verify the "as-built" conditions of design documents Review vendor projects under the guidance of an experienced DesignerProvide support for additional equipment, materials, or services in connection with construction Assist with design services to Engineering upon requests to aid them in the preparation of federal, state, and local license submittals

Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of electrical systems: wiring, one-line, three-lines, and schematics Knowledge of AutoCADLearn and apply department design/drafting standards and procedures Understanding of industry codes and standards Effectively communicate ideas and directions, both written and orally Demonstrate ability to apply basic electrical theory, technical mathematics, and basic science
