Participate in advance security preparations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must currently possess a valid U.S. driver's license and a valid U.S. tourist passport to be considered
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of documented protective security experience. A Service-2 or Member-4 copy of the DD-214 must be provided for applicants using U.S military service as applicable experience.
Protective security experience is defined as a personal bodyguard, a designated security member of convoy or movement operations, or security services experience while actively carrying a firearm. Experience may only be gained by employment under a national/federal government, state government, city/municipal government, provincial or township government, or a government-licensed commercial entity that provides armed protective services. Experience as sworn law enforcement in the United States is always applicable.
A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must be as a DDM/sniper/sharpshooter. Candidates claiming military experience must have either a sniper military occupation specialty (MOS) or additional skill identifier (ASI). Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the contract (DOS Secret level). Clearance can be obtained during the application process.
Must attend and successfully complete a sniper/DDM/sharpshooter program issued by a military, law enforcement, or security (government or commercial) training program. This sniper/DDM/sharpshooter program must be of suitable complexity and quality to adequately prepare the graduate for successful performance as a WPS III DDM. Your Role As a Gensler Designer, you are passionate about your craft and combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for our clients. You have conceptual and technical delivery/documentation design skills for interior architecture and interior design projects, and you have a portfolio showcasing your innovative designs. A focus for this role will be designing Hospitality interiors.
You are an integral member of the design team who itches to contribute a point of view and craves participation in all phases of our projects from conceptual thought process and design exploration through construction administration. With you as part of our team, interiors have never been so engaging.
What You Will Do
* Visioning and programming for interior design projects, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, shop drawing reviews, code compliance, and construction administration
* Select and document furniture, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and decorative lighting
* Generate finish plans, RCPs, lighting plans, specifications, material selections, and millwork drawings and details
* Provide design documentation during project execution
* Coordinate with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
* Integrate new technology and tools on projects (AR, VR, computational design, etc.)
* Support design presentations
* Support marketing and business development efforts as needed
* QA/QC specifications and construction document sets
* Strive to elevate design quality on every project, and foster and cultivate a culture of design in the office
Your Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
* 6-10 years of interior design experience, inclusive of at least 4 recent years for Hospitality (hotel lobbies, hotel rooms, hotel amenity spaces) projects
* Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max and other modeling software programs
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
* NCIDQ/CID in process
* Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; Ideally portfolios will include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwell, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus
Proficiency with:
* Selection of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
* Interior construction documents
* Applicable codes and safety considerations
* Strong storytelling ability, both verbal and written, that conveys purpose and impact
* Strong graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
