The Design Team Lead (Human Resources) will play an important role for CampusWorks' university client that is in the process of implementing the Workday ERP system.

AccountabilitiesFacilitate the University planning for the comprehensive Enterprise Systems implementation, including overall approaches to process roll-out, data migration, application integrations, integration plans of existing third-party applications Experience working in Human ResourcesParticipate in the project-related leadership and steering committee meetings, as needed, to ensure that project milestones are met, dependencies are tracked, and issues & next steps are proactively identified Collaborate and coach the Design Team Members, to manage and execute comprehensive sub-plans for the Enterprise Systems implementation project's tasks Assure PM's design plans are in coordination with the Enterprise Systems implementation project plan, including data migration, integrations, testing, change management, training, roll-out, etc.Align defined University implementation team in support of implementing the Enterprise Systems vendor's solution and in accordance with the vendor's supplied plan and agreed upon role and staffing expectations Support the first framing of the Enterprise Systems project team, including the roles and responsibilities and required staffing skills, in concert with the selected Enterprise Systems vendor's contract and Service Level AgreementProvide guidance on all major deliverables to advise on the design and implementation of the Enterprise Systems implementation project Proactively facilitate the University member alignment with the Enterprise Systems vendor team and activities to reduce Enterprise Systems vendor productivity impediments and additional costs Assess ERP implementation major deliverables to advise on the design and implementation of the Enterprise Systems implementation project Provide the ERP steering committee and leadership with feedback on the project and outstanding deliverables status, especially concerning issues affecting the timeline, scope, and cost

ExperienceERP implementation experience in a higher education environment Working knowledge of business process flows in an ERP system, particularly in HRWorkday and/or PeopleSoft experience is preferred

The Hardware Engineering team at Waymo is a diverse, innovative, and collaborative group of electrical, mechanical, reliability, software and vehicle engineers. We design, build, and perfect the products which are the eyes and ears of Waymo's autonomous driving technology, and integrate those products into vehicle platforms. We're seeking curious and talented teammates to keep us moving in the right direction.
In this role, you'll:

+ Manage a great PCB team with team members in Mountain View and Taiwan

+ Be a world-class PCB layout expert in both Allegro and Altium

+ Perform hands-on PCB layout and effectively lead other PCB layout team members on complicated layout projects

+ Continue improving Waymo ECAD/MCAD processes

+ Bring innovative PCB design and manufacturing technologies to Waymo

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

+ Bachelor or Associate degree in EE or equivalent practical experience

+ 10+ years of CAD and PCB design experience in Cadence Allegro and Altium tools

+ Proficient with high-speed and high-power PCB board designs; familiarity with high density Ball-grid Arrays (BGA), PTH, blind and buried vias

+ Familiarity with all phases of hardware development including: schematic entry, component placement, Library management, DRC/constraints manager, board layout, Gerber-out process, etc.

+ Strong people and project management skills

+ Excellent communication skills

It's preferred if you have:

+ A good understanding of signal integrity and power integrity

+ EE system product design experience

+ Oversea team management experience

+ Automotive product design experience

• Team management including mentoring, professional development of team, managing workload of staff, setting priorities, managing the team resources, and team financial management. Manage approximate 15 person team
• Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting, contracting, design, and QA/QC.
• Project design work for design-bid-build projects of various project types and sizes. Design to include: power distribution, low-voltage systems, interior and exterior lighting, and standby power
• Working with MSA leadership on strategic initiatives and MEP Discipline Leader on business strategy
• Client relations including architectural client management and internal discipline leader collaboration
• Leading projects from concept through design for electrical portion of projects, working alongside our robust MEP team.

What you bring

Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering required
• PE license required
• Minimum of 10 or more years of electrical design experience required
• Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply
• Prior experience with electrical design for design-bid-build projects, project management and consulting required
• Prior experience with mentoring and managing a team, or desire to step into that role
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills required
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• All of our design work utilizes Revit, so knowledge of Revit is a plus
• This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
