Summary: Creates Excel spreadsheet/drawings used for pole production based on schematic drawings provided by the customer. Communicate with customers to understand pole and other technical requirements. Coordinates with the production department to identify and resolve conflicts related to customer drawings and specifications.

Reviews customer drawings and determines hole, hardware, and coating details.
Reviews customer specifications to identify information that needs to be included in McWane approval/production drawing.
Creates Excel “drawings” for each customer drawing, ensuring correctness and completeness of details (hole size, location, class, amount of embedment coating, structure number, etc.).
Creates AutoCAD drawings
Communicate with customers to gain clarity on ambiguity in customer drawings.
Works closely with production to understand conflicts with customer drawings and production capabilities (location of hole relative to joint, hole size, etc.).
Communicates with customers to explain McWane production limitations (hole sizes, hole locations relative to joint, etc.) and gains resolution to issues that work for both parties.
Imports drawing details and truckloads into Enterprise software, a program used to manufacture poles
Determines best way to bundle mixed truckloads. Works with production to resolve truckload bundling conflicts.
Prioritizes multiple drawing jobs based on due dates.

The Seasonal Construction Technician performs construction inspection and materials testing on various road and bridge projects during the construction season. Review daily construction field reports.
