As an ICT Designer, you will be primarily responsible for providing data center design services and leading a team. You must have a thorough understanding of Data Center technology infrastructure design practices and Hyper-Scaler Standards. Your expertise will be crucial in liaising with clients, developers, installation contractors, and all related trades design team members. You will manage a design team of 3 to 5 technology engineers, meet client expectations, adhere to deadlines, and develop and coordinate appropriate design solutions to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement ICT Data Infrastructure for Data Center Technology projects, including Outside/Inside Fiber Plant, Data Cabling Pathways, Conveyance, Grounding, Wi-Fi, and related Data Systems.
* Handle projects involving Hyper-Scaler Single Tenant, Co-Location, and Enterprise Data Centers ranging from 1MW to 108MW and multi-provider campuses.
* Create detailed Construction Documents, including drawings and specifications.
* Conduct design reviews using Revit, Autodesk Construction, BuildingConnected, and Bluebeam Sessions.
* Perform on-site inspections and develop field reports with national travel to project sites within the continental US.
* Ensure quality control by ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements and coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
* Assist with Business Development and Client Outreach Events.
Essential Skills
* Proficiency in Revit and BIM Software.
* Experience in designing technology systems at a design-engineering firm or data center.
* 5+ years of ICT design experience, including physical security systems, IT infrastructure, and audio/visual systems.
* Experience with field inspection, quality control, and construction documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Data center experience is highly preferred.
* Preferred certifications include RCDD, OSP, PMP, PSP, RTPM, CTS (not required).
* Willingness to travel 1-2 times a month, with trips lasting at most 2 nights.

In this exciting position, you will work closely with Project Managers, Professional Land Surveyors and Engineers, Project Engineers, Survey Crew Chiefs, and other project team members to create legal boundary, descriptions, and plat maps; reduce survey data (from conventional GPS and LiDAR point clouds) to create topographic maps; and provide construction staking calculations for survey crew(s) utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D. Skills Needed

Responsibilities
Drafting & Detailing
Produce construction, permitting, and as-built drawings in AutoCAD from redlines, field notes, and mark-ups.
Apply telecom industry and company layers, symbols, and annotation standards.
Generate plan, profile, and sectional views for towers, site locations, conduit routes, pole lines, and equipment racks.
Data & File Management
Maintain drawing logs, file naming conventions, and revision history within company systems.
Obtain and sort site information, photos, as-builts, etc. from city, county, customer, etc. portals.
Quality & Compliance
Run self-checks against company CAD standards (line weights, title blocks, scales, verbiage, etc.) before submittal.
Flag drawing conflicts or missing information to senior drafters or project engineers.
Collaboration & Communication
Attend daily/weekly design stand-ups; capture mark-ups from engineers, project managers, or field crews.
Provide PDF sets or plotted drawings to permitting authorities, RF teams, and construction teams on request.
Learning & Development
Complete assigned skill modules (e.g., NESC clearance rules).
Shadow Level II/III designers to understand design, diagrams, and deliverable generation.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED and one of the following:
▸ CAD certificate program ▸A.S. in Drafting/Design ▸ Military technical drawing training
Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2021 + (model & paper space, Xrefs, dynamic blocks).
Skills: Ability to read utility plans, basic math for scaling and dimensioning, keen attention to detail.
Work Authorization: Eligible to work in the United States; able to pass background/drug screening.
Preferred / “Nice-to-Have”
Familiarity with telecom wireless and OSP/ISP terminology (radio units, handholes, pull boxes, splice closures).
Exposure to GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS) or CAD-to-GIS workflows.
Knowledge of photogrammetry, pole-load software, or Bluebeam Revu markup tools.
OSHA 10 and/or confined-space awareness training.
