Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Landscape Architectural Intern for employment in the Cleveland OH office as part of AECOM's Urbanism and Planning Practice. The candidate should be efficient in the production of design graphics, construction drawings, and design and planning-related presentations and reports. Minimum Requirements
* Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in landscape architecture, environmental Design, or Planning and must have completed at least one year of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a bachelor's degree and plan to continue with a master's degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of design process, conceptual thinking and detailed design/construction document knowledge, well organized and attention to scheduling requirements, as well as a good understanding of time management.
Ability to plan and organize multiple projects and work with other multi-discipline team members; effective time management is an inherent trait expected of all internship candidates.
The candidate will be expected to maintain regular office hours and participate in company functions where appropriate; domestic travel may also be a potential and the intern must be able to fulfil this task.
A strong focus on studio culture and collaboration is an important aspect of our practice. The candidate should be confident, and willing to work with all staff levels from Entry Level Landscape Architects through Practice Leaders.
Ability to possess an entry level understanding and knowledge of design, master planning, construction materials, techniques and specifications.
Entry level proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, SketchUp, Rhino, other related CADD software.
A college or university student with no more than two academic years remaining before earning a degree preferred, these students are typically in their junior, senior year of an undergraduate program or are in their first or second year of a graduate program. Education and Training

Summary: We are looking for a Piping Designer/Drafter to work on-site at a client facility in Canton, OH. The Piping Designer/Drafter will assist with the development, design, and drafting of 3D CAD-based mechanical and piping drawings. This is a permanent, direct hire position. Candidates for this position should have large-scale plant and industrial chemical experience. This is an ON-SITE position and remote candidates cannot be considered. 5+ years relevant work experience, specifically with industrial CAD design
Assist with preparation of engineering drawings for all construction and fabrication work including detailed drawings, as-builts, schematics, and flow diagrams, P&ID's, and piping isometric drawings
Work with engineers in order to determine piping specifications and specialty items
Provide drawing production work including problem analysis, design layout, and calculations
Work under the direction of a Lead Mechanical/Piping Designer and providing advanced Microstation drafting and design services by preparing and maintaining mechanical and piping engineering drawings for use in fabrication and construction
Prepare Microstation 3D designs from general instruction and/or preliminary sketches, diagrams, or schematics
Assist management in verifying compliance with applicable design standards
Prepare Line Lists, Manual Valve Lists, and Drawings Lists
Maintain and update engineering drawing files and incorporating piping changes, modifications, and new construction into existing plant drawings using AutoCAD
Recommend modifications and changes for design improvement and simplification
Produce complex technical drawings and piping isometrics
Prepare working drawings from conceptual layout to detailed finished product
Coordinate CAD projects with other discipline personnel
Maintain P&IDs, ISOs, and other construction blue print
Develop sketches on proposed drawings, flow sheets, and develop completed designs from sketches
Work with engineering, other professionals, and SMEs in order to obtain input to recommendation

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction

Submits to a drug test post offer
Possesses a valid driver's license
Accepts that this position may require some domestic overnight travel
