Overview:
The OSP Engineer performs detailed outside plant facility engineering tasks that include estimating, analyzing, designing, planning, and budget tracking estimates against actual costs for copper and fiber cables, poles, and direct buried and conduit systems. The Distribution Designer will work within our Transmission and Distribution \(T&D\) Global Practice to perform the following duties:
+ Responsible for the design of low to medium voltage \(2\.4\-69kV\) distribution and sub transmission lines using CADD/GIS design and mapping software\.
+ Prepare and develop distribution and sub transmission voltage construction packages for both overhead and underground projects, including distribution equipment installation, new conduit and duct bank design, feeder replacement, cable replacement, and new feeder design\.
+ Provide QA/QC of data collected by subcontractor's support during field investigations\.
