Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience:
* Elevate in-store experience by modeling Customer Experience Leader (CEL) behaviors and coaching associate behaviors to achieve store goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Responsible for responding to customer and associate requests or feedback with a high sense of urgency.

* Collects and submits all supply needs to ensure successful operations in all areas of the business.

* Responsible for ensuring a safe environment for both customers and associates. Ensure all equipment is in good operating condition and checked regularly.
* Responsible for ensuring associates are equipped in successfully resolving customer concerns and aware of when to escalate to the StoreManager.
* Support StoreManager with associate timekeeping activities to ensure all store labor deliverables are met. This includes scheduling, forecasting, labor add/reductions, payroll management, etc.
* Support StoreManager in resolving associate relations matters.
* Participates in the performance review process by writing and conducting associate performance reviews and provides feedback to the StoreManager for Leads and Supervisors.

As the AssistantStoreManager you will:
Partner with the StoreManager to create action plans to achieve results and grow the business.
Understand and demonstrate product knowledge, selling and operational skills to maximize sales.

Partner with the StoreManager to develop team members who are committed to creating a great experience for our customers.
Oversee assigned division of responsibility and be accountable for results.
Support the StoreManager to ensure store standards for merchandising and operations are met consistently.
Learn about all aspects of the business and share ideas to drive the business.
Remain composed in the face of challenges and unforeseen circumstances.
Perform POS transactions on designated shifts and execute management functions in the absence of StoreManager.

Qualifications

2+ years as a Co/AssistantManager in similar volume, apparel business (preferred).

Additional Requirements
Experience: 1 to 3 years of previous StoreManager experience in a luxury retail service environment preferable. Possess current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Technical: Proficient with MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Experience using retail systems (i.e. labor management, inventory systems, sales reporting, etc.)
Physical: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team. Mobility to maneuver the sales floor and stock room to provide and support customer service. Reach above/bend to obtain product for customers from store fixtures/shelves at various heights and climb ladders/stairs/step-stools to perform visual merchandising and housekeeping duties. Ability to frequently lift and carry up to five pounds and at times lift and carry product/cartons up to fifty pounds to process product shipment/transfers.
Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high retail traffic and sales days (including but not limited to the day after Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas Eve, Mother's Day, etc.).
