We are seeking a Design Coordinator to support projects in our Eastern Business Unit. Our ideal candidate will proactively partner with Design Managers and other members of the project team to provide Design Coordination support on projects from start to finish. Detailed Description: * Assist project managers, design managers, and project analysts with design related project kick-off activities, including but not limited to, development of a work breakdown structure, project management plan, project schedule, and identification of key project success metrics. * Coordinate production of digital and/or hardcopy design submittals for client review. * Production and oversight of specifications, including formatting, tracking, and cross-referencing. They will typically work under the direction of a licensed PE and be responsible for the geotechnical analysis and design of infrastructure projects including but not limited to roadways, retaining walls, bridges, buildings, dams, soils and rock slopes, asphalt and concrete pavements, etc. Opportunities exist to participate on high profile infrastructure projects in the southeast and across the United States (travel is required for site visits). They will also review boring logs, laboratory data, and design plans for a variety of geotechnical tasks such as slope stability, driven piles and drilled shafts, and also provide project specific analysis for sites with seismic considerations, including liquefaction potential, slide remediation, ground improvement and others. I have a client located in Columbia, South Carolina that is looking to bring on an experienced Mechanical CAD Designer to support their stainless-steel sheet metal medical, lab, and commercial equipment design operations. This person will work directly with the engineering and fabrication teams to produce and update detailed drawings for custom stainless-steel products, including cabinets, counters, sinks, mortuary and pathology equipment, and other commercial/medical assemblies. The ideal candidate will have strong sheet-metal drafting experience, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and update fabrication drawings with minimal oversight. Experience with commercial kitchen equipment or stainless-steel casework is highly preferred.
