**Required Skills:**
Content Designer Responsibilities:
1. Design, write, edit and test clear, compelling in-product language to help users and teams meet their goals. 2. Apply systems thinking to the product, whether it's defining extensible design system guidance, conducting audits of existing experiences or creating information architecture
3. Use your familiarity with how code works in software. This may involve doing things like updating language in code with internal tools, reviewing code to ensure the in-product language is as intended, or creating the logic to personalize the experience for a user
4. Give and solicit feedback from your UX design peers in service of building the best products
5. Create high-fidelity design mocks using existing components in Figma, and use them to present design solutions
6. Collaborate daily with peers in every discipline, including engineering, design, research, marketing and data science, to take products from conception to launch
7. Partner with our internationalization team to ensure product experiences are of the highest quality in every language
8. Demonstrate sound judgment and influence product decisions, team direction and strategy. This includes identifying potential risk for users or the company, and aligning stakeholders around significant decisions by illustrating product tradeoffs
9. Independently and proactively identify and work on projects that span multiple teams. This may involve facilitating or co-facilitating design sprints and workshops to kick off these projects
10. Build internal community, provide mentorship and develop skills of other content designers

While applying technical civil engineering knowledge and skills, this engineering position will:
Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams in the planning, design, and construction of a wide variety of water resources projects with a particular focus on irrigation infrastructure. Project examples include master planning, hydraulic modeling, and design of pipelines, canals, pump stations, hydraulic structures, wells, small dams, and storage ponds.
Develop business by building relationships with clients and assisting with preparation of proposals.
Collaborate with clients, operators, regulatory agencies, funding agencies, and contractors on project requirements and deliverables.
Attend client meetings and participate in public meetings or open houses to discuss project details and inform the public.
Perform periodic fieldwork including construction observation, monitoring equipment installation, and project reconnaissance.
Coordinate with other staff assigned to projects including PE's, EI's, drafters, funding team, and construction observers
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering.
Engineering Intern (E.I.) certificate and progress towards obtaining Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure.
1-4 years of civil engineering experience with increasing responsibilities.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Salary Range: $72,000 - $90,000 yearly, determined by experience

Who You Are:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline (or equivalent experience).
+ 3 to 5 years of relevant post-education experience in piping engineering or industrial facility design.
+ Engineer in Training Certification.
+ Strong understanding of piping design principles, component selection, and layout requirements.
+ Experience using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or SmartPlant) for piping and general arrangement development.
+ Familiarity with applicable piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.1, B31.3, API, ANSI, ASTM).
+ Ability to evaluate material compatibility and corrosion resistance based on service conditions.

SUMMARY:

* Preparation and execution of Architectural and Engineering Consultant Agreements defining Scope of Work, Scope of Services and Fees based on Owner's Project Requirements, design standards, and system specifications.

* Contributes to the continuous development of program standards and specifications.
* Provide guidance to all verticals regarding most efficient & best cost solutions.

* As requested, assists with existing facilities' capital and Tenant Improvement projects.
* Develops design concepts for new projects based on Owner's Project Requirements and the project business case.
