Position Summary The Wiring Designer is responsible for translating electrical schematics into detailed, point‐to‐point wiring diagrams and control panel layouts for production staff. This role ensures that every connection in our switchgear assemblies is accurately depicted, checked, and delivered on time. The Wiring Designer will use AutoCAD-leveraging in‐house tool palettes and custom blocks-to produce clear point to point wiring diagrams that meet company drafting standards and support efficient manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Interpret electrical schematics and produce point‐to‐point wiring diagrams utilizing AutoCAD along with in‐house palettes and custom blocks. · Develop control panel layouts indicating locations of devices, DIN‐rail, shipping split connectors, terminal blocks, wireways and other control panel mounted components. · Perform self‐checks on all wiring diagrams to verify every conductor, terminal, and connector matches the original schematic. · Participate in peer reviews to catch and correct any discrepancies before releasing drawings to production. · Update drawings promptly when Design engineering update the electrical schematics, ensuring production always works from the latest data. · Communicate with production staff to address red‐lines and clarify any questions regarding wiring diagrams. · Verify that diagrams function correctly on the shop floor-visually inspect panels as needed to confirm accuracy and identify potential build issues. · Escalate any critical discrepancies that cannot be resolved through the design engineering team. · Follow up regularly with Electrical Engineers to clarify ambiguous schematic details or resolve missing information. · Provide feedback on design for manufacturability concerns-highlighting complex wiring routes, crowded terminal strips, or space constraints. · Participate in team meetings to share lessons learned, discuss common error sources, and suggest process enhancements. · Conduct periodic visits to multiple plant locations (up to 2-3 times per year) to conduct in-person reviews of in-process panels and support production teams. Qualifications · Minimum of 2 years of experience interpreting electrical drawings-such as point-to-point wiring diagrams or electrical schematics-for production, testing, or design. · Experience in panel-shop or industrial control drafting environments; direct switchgear-specific experience is a plus but not required. · Proficiency in AutoCAD. · Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). · Exposure to document control systems or ECO/EO tracking databases is beneficial. Compensation The salary range for this role is $61,440 - $109,800.00 per year, based on location, experience, and qualifications. Role Description: A Process Design Consultant on the Global Operations Process Ownership & OpEx team plays a key role in enabling Process Engineers to support Global Operations Process Owners and key partners, ensuring consistency in approach across the organization and providing program and project oversight and support for key OpEx deliverables. This role combines process design expertise with strong analytical, presentation and project management capabilities to support the delivery of strategic process management efforts. Responsibilities Collaboration with Process Engineers and business partners to provide the required administrative support in relation to Enterprise Process Management deliverables and to enable process design / redesign using Process Management principles. Designing and administering Global Ops Process Management education programs Analyzing process data to help identify process redesign opportunities and provide insights Developing execution strategies and reporting progress to executive leadership Tracking program metrics and collecting VOC for continuous improvement Facilitating onboarding for Process Owners and Advisors Supporting Process Engineers with SPI insights to enhance process strategy Driving portfolio oversight and simplification of work processes Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, to align on strategy, progress, and support needs. Partner with Process Engineers to develop and implement success measures that sustain improvements over time. What We Are Looking For We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage ambiguity while delivering results. Required Experience & Attributes: 3-5 years of experience in process design and/or project management support. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and improve complex business processes. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising quality or timelines. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a virtual, cross-functional team environment. Skilled in facilitating meetings, capturing outcomes, and maintaining accurate documentation. Effective communicator with experience engaging diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders. Skills That Will Help Process Management or Six Sigma Green Belt / Lean Certification. Experience with process quality and performance improvement initiatives. Familiarity with Global Operations and related processes. Operational knowledge of Process Owner Portal (POP) and Bank of America Change Management standards. Strong foresight in identifying risks and developing creative mitigation strategies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and data visualization tools (Tableau and Alteryx).
