Create and manage the hangtag development library, all development styles need to have appropriate hangtags to follow per each garment's specific features.
Pass off production order details to the production manager and technical designer to input the grading, specs and garment callouts. Pass off any factory ready artwork files (graphics and prints) and fabric standards to follow per order.

The Associate Designer plays a key role in the end-to-end design and development process. Working closely with senior members of the design team, this position supports seasonal line development through trend research, concepting, technical sketching, sample management, and cross-functional communication. The Associate Designer will demonstrate a clear understanding of brand identity, customer profile, and retailer requirements to create products that are both commercially viable and aesthetically aligned.
Key Responsibilities
Seasonal Line Development
Partner with the Senior Designer to develop and execute seasonal assortments tailored to wholesale and private label accounts.
Assist in creating trend-right and brand-appropriate collections with consideration for customer demographics, pricing architecture, and margin targets.
Support in the creation of mood boards, seasonal color palettes, print direction, and material selection.

Technical & Creative Execution

Participate in fittings and communicate design revisions based on technical feedback and fit outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams including Product Development, Technical Design, Sales, and Merchandising to ensure alignment across design intent and business goals.
Engage with sourcing and vendor partners as needed to follow up on samples, material approvals, and development timelines.
Partner with the sample room to oversee proto development and ensure proper execution of garment details.
Trend & Market Awareness
Conduct competitive market research and trend analysis with a focus on silhouettes, fabrics, color stories, and functional innovations specific to the intimate apparel market.
Maintain awareness of customer feedback and retail performance data to inform design decisions.
