Job Summary
This position will provide support to the University's marketing/advertising/creative services team by assisting with specific assignments related to marketing, advertising and recruitment collateral development, design and production, and content creation that enhance internal and external communication.
Responsibilities
Graphic Design (80%) -
Develop, create and design marketing, advertising, recruiting and promotional materials - including information sheets, brochures, bi-folds, posters, flyers, banners, mailers, signage, programs, view books, documents, presentations, billboards, digital and print ads, social media images, etc. - that are visually appealing and consistent throughout marketing campaigns
Develop and design creative collateral, including print/traditional mediums, digital channels and digitally created visual imagery
Provide photography services to include taking portraitures for faculty/staff and photos for advertising and recruitment collateral, editing and retouching imagery, and take supplemental photographs for marketing-related projects as-needed
Create graphics that continue to reinforce the University's brand and highlight students, faculty, staff, programs, services and accomplishments
Create original artwork that supports and upholds the institution's visual identity standards and digital content in support of the University's marketing objectives
Planning (10%) -
Collaborate with internal departments and external entities; create and maintain collateral materials for University clients and use these products to build the MGA brand
Other Duties (10%) -
Assist with a wide range of internal and external communications for the Office of Marketing & Communications
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

What You'll Do:
Create and manage manufacturing documentation. Develop detailed 3D CAD models, process sketches, and engineering drawings that convey specific manufacturing intent for parts and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical Engineering Design:
Perform power distribution design as a Senior or Lead Engineer, including conceptual studies, design analyses, calculations, equipment selection, and system layout for industrial processes and site electrical utilities.
Client Engagement:

Project Oversight:

Bidding Process Support:

Construction Phase Services:
Represent the firm on-site, answer RFIs, review shop drawings, and prepare As-built drawings.
Technical Input:
Offer technical guidance, value engineering, and industry best practices.
Independent and Collaborative Work:
Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with other engineers and designers.
Mentorship:
Mentor engineering staff to foster their professional development.
Marketing and Business Development:
Actively support company marketing and business development activities.
Client Relationships:
Establish and maintain positive client relationships.
Process Improvement:
Assist in developing new and revised processes and procedures.
Other Duties:
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by project leaders and senior management.
Project-Specific Duties
Project Management:
Perform Project Manager duties and serve as Lead Project Engineer on assigned projects.
Discipline Design:
Design and document industrial process electrical systems, developing discipline design approaches and methodologies.
Project Planning:
Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and reports for electrical disciplines.
Coordination:
Coordinate work products with other disciplines and ensure adherence to project budgets and schedules.
Quality Assurance:
Perform QA/QC reviews on assigned projects and approve discipline code analyses.
Client Interaction:
Respond to RFIs and owner review comments, back-check discipline QC comments, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Travel:
Potential travel up to 20%.
Education, Technology, and Experience
Experience:
10+ years of significant design and practice experience in a leadership role within an industrial or multi-discipline A&E firm.
Education:
Graduate of an ABET-accredited engineering program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
Professional Organizations:
Active participation in IEEE, IES, or other related professional organizations is desirable.
Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with SKM Power Tools or equivalent, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and BIM.
Additional Skills:
Strong experience in designing power distribution, lighting, and communication systems. Familiarity with MSHA standards and Design/Build and EPC project delivery methods is desirable.
