Requirements
Education and/or experience
4-year college Degree in Graphic Design/Communication, Art or Advertising with studies in color theory, illustration, web design, and use of graphic applications.
5+ years experience in a graphic designer role (or the equivalent).
Print design experience a must. Experience in the creative industry is a plus.
Experience in multi-channel retail and online-to-offline strategies is a plus.
Computer Software and/or Equipment, Tools, Machines
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Familiarity with After Effects or Premiere Pro is a valuable asset. Figma or Canva a plus.
Experienced in using project management tools such as Workfront to support collaborative and deadline-driven workflows.
Comfortable working in a Mac-based environment, with intermediate proficiency in mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and cloud-based collaboration platforms.

Under minimal supervision and following established procedures in accordance with contractual requirements and Aerojet Rocketdyne policy and procedures, this position performs engineering design assignments for preparation of engineering design documents and maintaining the design disclosure.
Typical responsibilities include:
+ Prepare product definition (CAD models, drawings or 3DPDFs).
+ Perform Verification (Checking) of Product Definition, tolerance stacks and calculations, includes models, drawings and PLM attributes and relationships.
+ Support both SP&PS and MSSL segments in the authoring and maintenance of CAD Process standards and Product Definition Requirements Manual (PDRM) initiatives.
+ Support MS Sharepoint365 sites and publications to document management systems.

Responsibilities :

General Description:
This is a full-time, tenure track assignment under the general direction of the Area Dean. This position will be hired as a faculty member within a discipline and reassigned as an Instructional Designer. This reassignment will provide instructional design services for faculty to support the use of high-quality online instruction and Learning Management Systems. Identify weak points in designs, gaps in thinking, and opportunities to better deliver on our goals by applying critical thinking and a sharp design eye to strengthen solutions.
Work closely with product teams and artists to refine ideas and stay aligned throughout development. Proactively share work, keep the right people informed, and provide relevant information when it's needed.
Leverage feedback, data, and other insights to refine designs. Use them not just to react, but to reflect and make intentional improvements.
Support long-term product and UX consistency through your design work by drawing on developed knowledge of our design principles and patterns.
What we're looking for:
3+ years of experience specializing in Game UX development, with a track record of delivering features or initiatives from concept to implementation (experience working on mini-games or gameplay-heavy features preferred).
Confidence in navigating ambiguity, with the ability to identify next steps, recognize blockers, and take initiative to move work forward.
A solutions-oriented mindset that goes beyond identifying problems, bringing thoughtful, creative problem solving to the table.
A strong understanding of game development norms and pipelines, including how to design with technical constraints, implementation realities, and cross-discipline workflows in mind.
