Summary/Objective:
The Fire Protection Sprinkler Foreman is responsible for the day-to-day activities of assigned personnel on the assembly, installation and repair of pipes, fittings, and fixtures for fire protection sprinkler systems. In addition to supervisory responsibility, this position is that of a working Fire Protection Sprinkler Foreman, responsible for directly performing a wide range of skilled fire protection construction tasks.
Essential Functions:
The Fire Protection Sprinkler Foreman manage labor and materials to ensure the assigned tasks meet or beat budgets for each
Tracks hours and manpower on all tasks
Provides training in areas needing improvements to ensure quality, production, and safety
Responsible for performing a wide range of skilled construction tasks
Attends, as needed, all job site and office meetings related to assigned projects
Interprets company policy for workers and enforces safety regulations
Provides guidance and direction to crews in meeting budgets and project schedule
Ability to manage the fire protection installation team, including sprinkler fitters and helpers on the job site
Ability to interpret blueprints and architectural drawings
Responsible for installation of wet, cpvc, and steel systems in commercial and industrial buildings
Plans work to make the most efficient use of assigned manpower and other resources
Inspects work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to contract and specification
Maintains appropriate documentation for the work performed
Demonstrate positive team work and ability to be a team leader and mentor
Maintains a clean and safe work environment
Completes projects in a timely manner while providing the highest standard of quality work and customer satisfaction

Knowledgeable with NFPA 13 and all codes
Proven ability to effectively manage and lead teams of 8 to 10 individuals, ensuring high productivity, team cohesion, and successful project outcomes
Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
Must be available, and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned
