WHAT YOU'LL DO
Cleans new and used car deliveries, rentals, service vehicles, body shop vehicles, and spot delivery before the vehicle leaves the dealership or is shown to a guest. Responsible for washing the outside of the vehicle that includes but not limited to; washing and drying the vehicle, buffing, waxing, and cleaning windows. Vacuums interior of vehicle to remove loose dirt and debris and cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices. Acts as back up for shuttling guests to and from service appointments or picking up vehicle parts as needed.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 900a-530p; rotating Saturday 800a-500p with a weekday off.
Pay starting at $12.50-16.50/hour based on experience. Earn an extra $2.00 per hour worked every Saturday!

Phil Long Collision Center is looking for a Detail Technician to join our team. Are you looking for an entry level position to get your foot in the door in the automotive industry?
A detail Technician cleans and refurbishes new and used automobiles.
Essential Duties
• Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows and wipes down doorjambs.
• Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surface.
• Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Cleans upholstery, rugs and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices.
• Applies revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
• Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
• Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
• Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation.
• Restores appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery and painted surfaces. Uses touch-up paint, dyes and other appropriate materials.
• Fills vehicle with fuel.
• Applies dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Replaces missing or defective small parts.
• Maintains showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.
• Ensures proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle's window.
• Removes all window stickers on sold vehicles.
• Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
• Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
