Primary Function:
Under the direction and supervision of the Production Manager, this position is responsible for all aspects of interior and exterior cleaning and detailing of vehicles. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, and policies of Willis Automotive.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs interior and exterior detail work of vehicles in accordance with time and maintenance standard; as set by the company with an emphasis on paint appearance.
Performs exterior washing of vehicles using both car wash equipment and manual labor; removes all residues from body compound, buffing wax and paint overspray.
Responsible for the entire detail process of vehicle assigned.
Performs all work within OSHA and company safety guidelines; wears the required personal protective equipment as required by chemical manufacturer.
Removes trash/debris from all body shop receptacles; maintains a safe and attractive work area.
Moves vehicles in and out of Collision area as needed.
What we need from you:
Ability to comprehend instructions and information
Valid Iowa driver's license; acceptable driving record in accordance with insurance provider
Ability to operate vehicles with both manual and standard transmissions
Ability to lift up to 150 pounds occasionally
Ability to operate the necessary cleaning equipment and in a safe manner
Strong attention to detail
Advanced time management skills
Must have ability to work well in a team-based environment

What You Will Do:
