As a Budget car detailer, you will be focused on maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our vehicles at our busy Salt Lake international airport location.
We are currently hiring for both 1st and 2nd shifts.

Essential Responsibilities:
Follow and promote Budgets high standards of safety, cleanliness and organization

Job Description
We're hiring for entry-level auto roles at Carvana - the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500. In these entry-level roles, you'll have a number of positions to choose from:
Detailer: detailing vehicles, including washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing
Lot Attendant: move vehicles from one department to the next in our Inspection Centers
Photobooth Associate: take photos of our vehicles so customers can see our vehicles in our spinners
Inspection Associate: inspect the interior and exterior of the vehicles and accurately identify any imperfections/defects
Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 hourly (based on level of experience)
Pay: Starting pay for this position is $17/hr.
Schedule: We offer a first shift at this location. Please keep in mind that all locations are subject to mandatory overtime based on business need.

- Review the plans, specifications and addenda to determine the project scope and requirements.
- Perform jobsite inspections of existing conditions, As-Built conditions, etc. Check the specified systems against engineering data for compliance with wind loads and dead load maximums.
- Produce shop drawings and detail drawings using AutoCAD. Assemble hardware, door, framing and glass schedules.
- Discuss project execution parameters such as project flags, the schedule and installation with the project manager and field supervisor, to determine and fine tune product selection, specs and detailing.
- Provide support to the architectural community for products, means and methods, color samples, hardware applications, framing system suggestions, etc.
Qualifications
Requirements:
A minimum of 2-4 years of experience within the construction, architecture or related industry. Past experience with AutoCAD is required. An ability to read and understand construction specifications and plans is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills are highly desirable.

Serve as a liaison between field, engineering, management, and technical project teams.
Track progress, timelines, and team deliverables to ensure quality and consistency.
Participate in page-turns to surface risks and establish installation sequencing.
Facilitate meetings and manage preconstruction detailing inputs and outputs.
Think creatively to solve layout challenges, maintain constructability, and streamline workflow.
Maintain detailing standards, naming conventions, version control, and digital hygiene to ensure accuracy and consistency across drawings, schedules, and BOMs.
Review and verify specifications and submittals for compliance to all codes and requirements.
Creative and out of the box thinking with attention to detail.
Rely on field experience to correct design and scope gaps to eliminate rework.
Ability to fully deploy with the capabilities of displaying innovative approaches and expertise.
Ability to think digitally and practically from the field and tech platform experience.
Time management skills to create and manage to meet project milestones.

Minimum Qualifications:
Strong electrical field installation experience (Journeyman/Foreman/Superintendent level).
Solid ability to read construction plans and understand installation sequencing.
Knowledge of electrical code, contract documents, specifications, and submittals.
Experience with Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel.
Understanding of real-world installation logic, constructability, and material applications.

Job Duties: (What does a Detailer at Clegg Auto do?)
You will primarily be focused on wowing our customers!.
You will wash, vacuum and wipe down the interiors of vehicles, paying attention to detail.
You will assist in helping keep the shop clean.
You will assist the team in various duties on occasion.
Once you have mastered and learned to be an outstanding detailer, when opportunities arise, you will be able to start to learn other positions in the body shop.
Pay / Hours:
We are considering qualified candidates for Part Time - Full Time work.
Auto Body students are encouraged to apply!
Your work hours will be between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm M-F, with some flexibility for school schedules. Open to 8:00am - 5:00pm hours for the right candidate
Pay Depends On Experience, $12-$15+/hr.
