SUMMARY The Detailer and Graphics Installer is responsible for installing graphics and painting parts on aircraft refueler and vacuum trucks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Prepare truck and/or tank for paint, graphics and placards. Cut, prepare and apply vinyl graphics up to 30' long and 5' wide on circular surfaces, at times from a ladder. Mask or tape off detailed components to avoid contamination. Wash the exterior and detail the interior of a vehicle according to Company standards. Mix paint according to specifications. Operate and clean air spray gun. Ability to polish and buff imperfections when necessary (mostly on aluminum tanks). Maintain cleanliness of garage/shop maintenance, including a weekly floor sweep, organization of shelves, supply cabinets, etc. Ensure proper inventory of supplies and coordinate with Manager for ordering when necessary. Follow Company detail checklist. Perform other duties as assigned. The Detailer performs various detailing and transportation of new and pre-owned boats, motors, trailers and ATV's in support of a TMBC Sales, Service and Parts operation.
