You'll work under the guidance of our Steel Fabrication Manager to help prepare and review drawings, learn industry standards, and support our steel fabrication projects from start to finish.
This is a great opportunity for someone with basic drafting or CAD training who wants to gain hands-on experience in the steel construction industry.
What You'll Do:
Assist with preparing and updating shop drawings based on contract documents
Learn to read and interpret construction drawings for structural and miscellaneous steel
Help check drawings for accuracy and completeness before they are sent for approval or fabrication
Enter and maintain drawing updates in our project files
Support coordination between detailing, fabrication, and field teams
Participate in training to learn company and industry detailing standards
Perform basic measuring and data collection tasks during site visits (with supervision)
Carry out other entry-level duties as assigned to support the Project Manager and subcontractors
What You'll Bring:
Basic understanding of drafting principles; construction knowledge is a plus, but not required
Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SDS/2, or Tekla) is a plus, but not required - training provided)
Strong attention to detail, a positive “can-do” attitude, and an eagerness to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills
Experience:
2-4 year college degree required
Coursework in drafting, engineering, or related field preferred, but not required
No prior steel detailing experience required - we will train the right candidate

Parker Hannifin offers competitive pay with the starting rate for this position currently at $24.15 per hour plus a $1.00/ hour shift premium. Responsible for overall cleanliness of assigned aircraft, vehicles and facilities. Other duties include stocking and positioning of aircraft in accordance with company standards.
Ensure assigned aircraft are taken care of according to company standards and safety procedures including but not limited to the following:
Wash, wax and polish exterior.
Clean, vacuum and polish interior.
Service water and waste systems as required.
Stock with supplies in accordance to aircraft MSL (minimum stock list).
Tow and reposition aircraft.
Ensure company vehicles are presentable at all times keeping exterior washed and waxed and interior vacuumed and polished.
Ensure hangar floors are clean and safe for walking and hangar wells are decluttered and organized for storage.

Requires some flexibility around scheduling with some on-call requirements.
