Norman Thomas Linebarger (born January 24, 1963) is an American businessman in the diesel engine industry.

Experienced President and CEO with a demonstrated history of working in high tech and machinery industry. Skilled in Business Development, Integration, M&A, Marketing Management, Human Resources, Engineering and Manufacturing Operations. Strong business development professional with a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) from the University of Michigan. MBA from Eastern Michigan University and a BSME from Michigan State University.

Blair joined Aviva in February 2014 from ASB, New Zealand’s largest retail bank, where he was Executive General Manager for Wealth and Insurance. He previously worked at Great Eastern Insurance where he led the strategic planning and transformation process and was instrumental in aligning country operations to a common vision and strategy. He has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry and has held a number of senior and executive positions at ANZ, AIA and AXA.Blair was appointed UK Digital Managing Director in September 2015 and has overall responsibility for the UKD business, including the trading and marketing plans, the digital and telephony customer experience, evolution of Aviva.co.uk and MyAviva and developing innovative and differentiated customer propositions. Previously, Blair led the Group Strategy team working closely with local executive and strategy teams to ensure global alignment and progress on our strategic priorities.

He is also certified in NIST/MEP lean manufacturing training, a five-section program that includes value stream mapping, 5S/visual manufacturing, set-up reduction, cellular/flow and pull/Kanban systems.
