YOUR IMPACT The Managed Strategies Team within Asset & Wealth Management ("AWM") is responsible for all discretionary solutions offerings for PWM clients. HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
* Actively managing option portfolios alongside senior portfolio managers and traders

Qualifications
7+ years of relevant experience in Capital Formation, Investor Relations, Client Solutions, Investment Banking, Private Markets Investing, or a closely related role, with demonstrated exposure to private equity, real assets, or alternative investment strategies.
Strong understanding of private markets products and structures, including fund economics, vehicle design, fundraising mechanics, and the institutional investor due diligence process; experience with secondaries, real assets, or complex structured solutions preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and credibly articulate investment strategies, performance, and risk considerations to sophisticated internal and external stakeholders.

Evaluate GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine the impact of new regulations on BNY Mellon fund accounting practices and develop strategies for implementation.
Implement and assist in setting guidelines, policies, and priorities for drafting financial reports for clients to review fund performance, communicating complex accounting intricacies.
Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff to maximize individual contributions, professional growth, and effective teamwork.
Oversee relationships with auditors and clients to update financial reports ensuring accurate depiction of fund performance.
Manage multiple Fund/Client Accounting teams primarily through subordinate managers and contribute to achieving multiple team objectives.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 10 years of of commercial real estate fund accounting and financial statement preparation/review leadership experience
• Knowledge of GAAP, Investment Company, IFRS, and SEC rules applicable to commercial real estate investment funds
• Ability to effectively lead collaborative teams, where team members may be located in different cities or countries
• Working knowledge of joint venture waterfalls and partnership structures, including investor allocation
• REIT experience
• Yardi/Investran/WDesk experience preferred

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $175,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This job is responsible for working with complex, high-net-worth investors to create customized investment strategies in partnership with Senior Managers. Key responsibilities include evaluating, designing, constructing, managing, and monitoring all aspects of discretionary portfolio management including asset allocation, portfolio construction, security/manager selection, trade execution, risk management and compliance, investment reviews, and proactive client communication. Responsibilities:
Works to understand the client's situation and circumstances to develop and recommend an investment strategy tailored to their unique goals and objectives
Manages all aspects of the client's investment portfolio including asset allocation, portfolio construction, security/manager selection, trade execution, risk management and compliance, and investment reviews

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of investment decision making and financial consulting experience working with high-net-worth and ultra-high net worth clients
Has held positions of increasing responsibility with an established and prestigious financial services firm, most likely in a wealth management, private banking and/or trust field
Knowledge of fiduciary and financial products and services through extensive related work experience
Broad-based technical knowledge of investments, tax, legal and operations necessary to service clients
Knowledge of fiduciary standards, principles and applicable laws and regulations usually acquired through training, seminars or law school
Skills and experience in negotiating, delegating, leadership, superior client service and relationship management
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field or equivalent financial services/business experience
Graduate Degree such as MBA or JD preferred
Holds appropriate credentials such as CPA, CFP and/or CFA designation
