About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Development Analyst to join our in-office Denver-based team. This role offers the opportunity to support our multifamily development pipeline and help execute tailored business plans for individual projects. Key responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating potential sites, underwriting new opportunities, supporting due diligence and debt financing efforts, and conducting financial analysis throughout all phases of the development process.
We are looking for highly analytical, detail-oriented professionals who can process market data, create financial models, and provide strategic investment recommendations. The ideal candidate will be detail-focused, able to manage multiple priorities with high flexibility, think big-picture, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires travel throughout the United States (up to 25%).
Key Responsibilities
Identify, analyze, and underwrite multifamily real estate development opportunities.
Build and maintain detailed financial models in Excel, incorporating cost assumptions, budgets, rental comps, expense analysis, and market research.
Manage due diligence checklists, assist in transaction closings (land acquisitions, loans, etc.), and oversee project documentation.
Track and interpret key project data, including schedules, budgets, cash flows, and contracts.
Prepare internal investment memorandums and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Support the development team with entitlements, permitting, and design, including the development of site plans, floor plans, unit specifications, and amenities.
Assist in unit turnovers and final punch walks.
Contribute to special projects and assignments as needed.
Who You Are
Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, with 1-3 years of direct real estate or financial analysis experience.
Financial & Analytical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including strong financial modeling and data analysis capabilities, is required.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint (creating professional presentations), Word (document preparation), Teams, and Outlook (email and calendar management).
Market Knowledge: Understanding of multifamily capital markets, market research methodologies for revenue and expenses, and market supply and demand drivers. Experience with major MSAs in Colorado, Texas, California, New Mexico, Massachusetts, Virginia, and Florida is a plus.
Time Management & Attention to Detail: Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining precision and accuracy.
Strong Communicator: Skilled in crafting clear, concise, and professionally written correspondence and reports, and delivering effective presentations to internal teams and investors.

The Python Software Engineer develops scripts, applications, and solutions across the full suite of Audio, Video, Control -- and Building System spaces -- focusing on solving the problems that can't be solved traditionally. Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
* Write python code to support research, AI, and data activities within the applied research team.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required
* Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
* Fluent knowledge of Python and implementation across Windows and Linux required.
* Experience with LangChain, MCP, RAG A2A required
* Experience with typical python libraries (async, json, typing, pandas, scikit-learn, etc.) required
* Experience with Docker required.
* Experience in BMS (Building Management Services) or A/V (Audio/Visual) systems and programming a plus.
* Experience in Microsoft Azure a plus.
* Experience with Weights and Biases a plus.

Role Overview
As a Distinguished Software Engineer, you define and lead the architectural evolution of our platform infrastructure. You are among the most senior technical experts at the company, establishing technical vision and driving platform architecture across critical services like devops, monolith to microservice migration, payments, billing, identity, search and more. You operate with a broad mandate, partnering with senior leadership to translate business priorities-including enterprise readiness, AI integrations, and compliance into architectural strategy and scalable execution.
As a trusted advisor to teams across the organization, you mentor senior engineers, guide major technical decisions, and help instill a strong engineering culture centered around excellence, velocity, and platform thinking. What you do each day:
* Define and evolve the technical architecture for platform services, enabling enterprise scale and developer velocity
* Establish and drive adoption of architectural patterns, platform standards, and reusable primitives across engineering

* Lead cross-functional design reviews and provide architectural guidance for high-impact, company-wide initiatives

Qualifications:
* 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with extensive background in designing distributed, cloud-based systems
* Deep expertise in platform services such as payments, billing, identity, data, and APIs
* Demonstrated success delivering large-scale systems and influencing across organizational boundaries
* Proven experience establishing architectural strategies and patterns that scale across teams
* Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks (i.e. Ruby, React, JavaScript, Python, Java, Node.js)

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $216,000-$270,000.
