Candidate must have strong understanding and experience with Classic ASP and will be involved with migration/conversion and transitioning from Classic ASP to current or modern ASP.NET scripting language as well as the following responsibilities: Primary Duties and Essential Functions: Assists Project Managers, Software Architects, Clients and other Application Developers in requirements gathering, analysis, design, and project planning for software application development. Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. Performs moderately complex modification, testing, and debugging tasks on vendor supplied utilities and packages to ensure fit with current operating environment. Design, code, and maintain complex applications to ensure applications are efficient and updated on a regular basis. Develops and implements web parts and customization of SharePoint Sites leveraging Visual Studio and .NET technologies to include non-standard functionality. Implements new features and optimizes existing functionality in applications based on business requirements. Participate in design reviews, code reviews, test plan reviews, and documentation reviews. Develop and implement test plans for new and existing applications/functionality based on requirements. Review and edit program and user documentation for applications developed within the department to ensure that customer access to product is efficient and user-friendly. Develop and maintains project plans, requirements and design documents, and other system documentation. Develop and maintain work procedures and instructions. Basic Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
