DevOps Engineer responsible for designing and managing the Cloud infrastructure. Duties include deploying product updates, setting up software factory, virtual machines, containers, and orchestration. The role will have a large impact on team productivity and as such requires an understanding of the software development lifecycle and various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines).

Basic Qualifications
Principal Software Engineer:

Salary Range: $73,100 - $109,700

Qualifications
Typical Education/Experience:
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's 14 or more years' experience, Master's with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) Secret Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Job Purpose
As a Back-End Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic and APIs that enable seamless communication between internal systems, IoT devices (electric vehicles), external backend systems, and frontend user interfaces. You will design and implement efficient and scalable backend architectures, ensuring data integrity, security, and high performance. Design and implement backend services for electric vehicles such as over-the-air updates, remote commands, remote diagnostics, vehicle telemetry, customer interaction, passive-keyless entry, vehicle technician support, etc.
Develop and maintain highly available and scalable web services.
Create infrastructure-as-code, deployment pipelines, developer tools, and other automations.
