Position Description: This is a full-time exempt, remote position (with some ad-hoc visits to the client site) supporting a DoD customer located in Quantico, VA. The SharePoint Developer position is directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the organization supporting an information management/knowledge management (IM/KM) strategy and integration via business process analysis. The goal of the contract is to analyze existing business process models and create new process models, recommend system enhancements to support processes, and then implement a strategy to integrate those enhancements into organizational practice. What you’ll do:
As part of a growing RevOps team, you will work alongside a Tools & Systems Manager to create the Salesforce instance to be proud of. You’ll work together to ensure everything that can be integrated is, and that data flows automatically to enable speedy and efficient sales and renewal cycles. You will help us automate everything from email alerts to compliance notifications.
You’ll also work closely with our GTM Enablement team to make sure the frontline reps are taking full advantage of what you build in Salesforce. If you have a mind for analytics and data, we’ll put that to good use too as we can always find themes and patterns that increase win rates and increase contract values.
When you’re not building and automating, you will:
Build apps using Apex and Visualforce and leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform to support our goals and strategies
Create/modify existing controllers, controller extensions, and triggers across all platforms
Create and execute unit, integration and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data
Gather, analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users
Lead and manage Salesforce system data & maintenance
Trouble shoot Salesforce queries with GTM teams
Ensure our internal GTM processes are executed with efficiency and quality; monitor compliance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
Oversee the customization of the Salesforce CRM and other sales tools as needed (will have the support of the Tech and Tools Manager)
Aid in developing sales strategies and forecasts to drive high-level planning and goal setting
Aid in the development, monitoring, and managing of data analytics tools and dashboard
Deliver reports on performance metrics (high level of accuracy, quality, and consistency). Develop new reports/tools as needed
Work with Enablement to train new hires on Sales team processes & systems, creating training resources as needed
What you bring:
3+ years of professional experience
Minimum Salesforce Admin certified, working toward Developer Certification
Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
Ability to analyze data to find insights, think through problems & recommend solutions
Possess excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Possess excellent computer skills including, Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
