Ashland has an exciting opportunity for an Oilfield Additives Development Scientist to join our Specialty Additives business unit at our Wilmington DE research center. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the specialty additives innovation function. This position will report to the North America Innovation Lead.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop chemical solutions to enhance performance of oilfield fluids, particularly downhole cementing Perform lab experiments, including high temperature and high pressure methods, in pursuit of leading-edge additive technologies Plan, execute, analyze, draw conclusions from experiments, communicate results with internal and customer bases, lead filing of IP as required Understand industry needs, and lead development projects to meet targets, with members of multi-disciplinary teams Maintain up to date understanding of critical science, and build relationships with industrial colleagues

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

High level scientific proficiency (PhD or MS or equivalent) with emphasis on polymer science, chemical principles, and material science3+ years R&D experience in industrial specialty chemicals2+ years research experience in petroleum oilfield chemical additives and formulation; sound knowledge of standard oilfield fluid testing methods, especially cementing Have demonstrated innovation
Have strength in design of experiments, executing experimentation and data interpretation Have ability to lead development projects
Effective communication skills, with diverse global communities, both internal and external

What You Will AchievePfizer's Cell Line Development (CLD) organization is seeking a motivated, qualified candidate to be a technical contributor, in a lab‐based Scientist role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to perform platform development activities, which advance Pfizer's biotherapeutics pipeline toward clinical and commercial development. The position will be involved in the advancement of the entire biologics portfolio, including mammalian protein expression, viral vectors and other modalities, as well as novel technology development and process optimization programs. This role will involve all molecular and cell biology aspects of cell line development including vector design/construction, cell culture maintenance, clone screening, flow cytometry, and cell line characterization. The successful candidate will help to design and drive innovative improvements to CLD technologies, practices and infrastructure to ensure successful delivery of the project portfolio and continuous technology improvements. In addition, experience with systems biology, synthetic biology, bioinformatics, and/or automation technologies is desired.

How You Will Achieve It
Be a key member of the CLD team that will support the execution of both technology development and pipeline projects.Demonstrate outstanding communication and presentation skills, a documented ability to troubleshoot technical issues, an ability to plan and carry out experiments independently, and to work with complex instrumentation and software.Effectively document all lab activities in notebooks/elsewhere as required and appropriate, in a timely fashion; authors technical reports as needed and contributes to posters and publications as appropriate.Evaluate data and provide clear reports that can be shared and transferred to and from cross‐functional teams; responsible for clear communication in both written and oral forms.Adherence to safety protocols and knowledge of basic laboratory procedures to advance projects under rapidly shifting priorities and timelines.Work closely with groups outside of the CLD organization to advance portfolio and technology development initiatives.Work with and contribute to associated regulatory filing activities. Support laboratory activities by monitoring lab equipment and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications
Master's Degree in cell/molecular biology or related field with 4+ years' experience or a Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years' experience in the area of mammalian cell line development and/or molecular biology.Highly productive, technical scientist, who applies extensive technical and scientific knowledge as well as practical experience to deliver high quality results to drive delivery of CLD programs.Substantial experience with molecular biology such as plasmid construction, preparation and analysis, RNA, cDNA and genomic DNA preparation, sequencing, DNA electrophoresis, and Northern and Southern analyses and mammalian cell culture techniques Outstanding oral and written communications skills and strong analytical and computer skills are required.Growth potential to take on larger leadership roles.Self-motivated individual who works well in a team setting.

Tonix is looking for Scientists and Senior Scientists with extensive experience in antibody discovery and development responsible for developing therapeutics in oncology, infectious diseases, and other antibody or protein reachable targets. The positions are at Tonix’s Research and Development Center (RDC) which is the innovation and development arm of the Tonix pharmaceuticals. RDC is responsible for providing efficient and cutting-edge treatment methods for various diseases including infectious diseases, oncology, and other indications. These positions will involve working as part of the research team to deliver and optimize biological pipelines for clinical investigation. The individuals in this position will participate in many aspects of antibody design, engineering, production, optimization, and development.

We are searching for self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptive scientists with industry mindset to join the antibody discovery and development team. The individuals in this position will have access to the state-of-the art technologies such as latest high-content imaging and Cytof. The individual will coordinate activities with other senior scientists and run an independent research program which may include development of novel informatic or computational program development.

Use robotic, and automation to support novel engineered proteins and antibody design, production, purification, and screening

Conceive and design novel scaffolds molecules, including immune modulator and protein complexes, single- and multi-domain antibodies, various antibody fragments and fusion proteins to achieve or improve on target specificity, activity, and desired biological outcomes

Manage and participate in hypothesis generation, production, and identifying of unique biologics with high specificity and affinity to allow Tonix Pharmaceuticals competitively advance biologics pipeline in immunology, oncology, infectious diseases, and related fields

Biophysically and biologically assess binding properties of the novel proteins and antibodies by using various technologies such as SPR, flow cytometry, epitope screening, Octet, novel reporter-based assays, and high content plate-based imaging
Perform antibody engineering to improve potency and use of affinity maturation Participate or initiate clonal selection, process optimization, process characterization, and expansion of the protein or antibodies using systems such as Ambr ® 250 Lead specific project teams or participate in related project teams Propose new discovery and optimization path with industry mindset Use strong interpersonal skills to elicit, synthesize, and manage the cross-functional inputs required for a robust development plan. Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D., or equivalent doctoral degree preferred Documented relevant research experience in antibody discovery, design, development with two years of post-graduation experience Knowledge and use of AI to enhance design and target engagement preferred Strong accomplishment record demonstrating the ability to perform independent, high-quality, creative, and impactful research in the field of antibody or protein design and discovery Deep knowledge of B cell biology including B cell memory generation and responses, humoral immunity, immunoglobulin genetics, isolation of antigen specific B cells required Experience in various expression systems to perform high-throughput analysis of sub-clones Sound working experience in industry or biological context, and the ability to interrogate data set such as high throughput data, preferred Domain knowledge in some major area within life science for Pharma (e.g. infectious diseases, oncology, biomarkers, or in connection with high throughput technologies and their applications and pitfalls) preferred Working knowledge of systems such as multi-parameter flow cytometry, including acquisition and analysis, required Dedicated team player who is able to withstand the high demands of a fast-paced environment Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills are essential Strong planning and organizational skills Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Highly organized, results driven, problem solver, collaborator Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation
