In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students' academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential. The Program Specialist II provides instructional leadership and program coordination, serving as a trainer, curriculum developer, and subject matter expert while managing training logistics, evaluation, and partner engagement. Working closely with public safety, behavioral health, and community partners, this role blends training delivery, marketing and outreach, data-driven evaluation, and administrative oversight to ensure program quality, fidelity to best practices, and continuous improvement.
