Tallahassee State College is thrilled to announce a grant-funded opening for the position of Program Specialist IV with FDOE - Bureau of Standards and Instructional Support We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace community. What You'll Do This position will be housed in the Division of K-12 Public Schools at Florida Department of Education. The position is tasked with serving the bureau to support the instructional materials adoptions funded through Title I. The Program Specialist IV will be a direct report to the Director of Instructional Materials and Library Media, within the Bureau of Standards and Instructional Support. This position will work closely with other bureau offices, Florida Department of Education internal departments, and external stakeholders to monitor progress of the aims of each grant and to ensure the necessary outcomes. The Program Specialist IV will be responsible for developing processes for improvement, sharing of best practices, and to support the statewide adoption and alignment of instructional materials through the 2025-2026 school year. Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for: * Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior. * Works within the system in a resourceful manner to accomplish reasonable work goals; shows flexibility in response to process change and adapts to and accommodates new methods and procedures. * Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows through appropriately. * Possess strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, good spelling, and grammar skills. * Work both independently and with a team-based approach to successfully implement the program. * Provide regular reports, data analyses, and evaluation tools to FDOE leadership.
