Responsibilities include building and testing production-level integrations with backend systems. Collaborate with the AI and product teams to transition early-stage prototypes into scalable, maintainable production systems. Refactor and optimize prototype codebases to adhere to production standards. Develop web applications and backend services using modern frameworks (e.g., Next.js) deployed on Azure. Design and build REST API endpoints and explore GraphQL integration for efficient data access. Seamlessly integrate with our existing data infrastructure, including Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric. Utilize Azure Databricks for deployment and potential future ML integrations. Implement and maintain comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end) to ensure robust, high-quality deployments. Work with QA teams to automate testing pipelines within our CI/CD framework. Partner with cross-functional teams (data, ML, DevOps) to iterate on features based on user feedback and system performance. Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in both AI and software engineering within the Azure ecosystem. Follow all policies and procedures for the department and Company, including personnel policies and expectations as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Other duties as assigned. WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in full-stack development with proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frameworks like React or Next.js. Experience integrating AI/ML models into production systems is a plus. Solid background in developing and deploying REST APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is desirable. Proven experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment, monitoring, and scaling applications. Familiarity with data platforms such as Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric, as well as Azure Databricks for analytics and ML workflows. Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team spirit. Experience with container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) in an Azure environment. Previous work on projects involving automation, customer service platforms, or AI-powered applications. Understanding of agile development methodologies and CI/CD processes.
