ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Support our core systems including LinOS, WCS, AAPI, Connect, Lineage Link, Data Science Algorithm's and Contxt Implement and support of Application Management and/support tools that monitor and measure the effectiveness and availability of core applications
Diagnose and fix the design and implementation of software solutions using of JavaScript, React, node.js, Java, C#, Python, Transact-SQL, SQL-Server DB, and Postgres DB
Communicate and enforce best-practice coding standards to maintain excellent code quality using JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket(git), Box, Lucid Chart, CSS 3.0, XML/JSON, HTML5, W3C Standards, Open API and RAML. Apply best practices and consistently develop high-quality services on schedule; contribute to project deliverable templates and standards, including coding standards.
Required Qualifications of the Developer III:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field. Ent Credit Union development technician job description
This position partners with the Mortgage Lending Management Team to manage mortgage Loan Origination Systems, associated applications, and reporting functions. They are responsible to utilize all available resources to remain proficient and knowledgeable on Mortgage Lending associated technologies. Provide direction to Information Technology staff in order to provide a bridge between credit union functions and Mortgage Lending functions. Act as a resource to all credit union management to source data, build complex reports, test calculations, and program application interfaces. This position will develop plans for system improvements, organize resources to ensure maximum automation for efficiency, and manage technology vendor relationships to ensure highest and most consistent performance of current systems. Finally, the Technical Developer will maintain responsibility to monitor security of information to prevent conflicting functions that expose the credit union to privacy concerns, risk of losses, or compliance violations. The Technical Developer acts as a subject matter expert and team lead to the Technical Analysts by providing insight on mortgage system configuration requiring advanced development. This may include after-hours work to implement system upgrades. They will work closely with the Mortgage Project Team to prepare and maintain test scripts and may direct work activities on assigned projects to the Technical Analysts as needed. This position will require a general understanding of Ent's IT department functionalities so they can assist in determining necessary IT resources for mortgage projects.
Essential Functions:
Provide technical expertise as it pertains to mortgage systems to maintain overall compliance, security of information and system stability/functionality. Will troubleshoot critical system issues then work with Ent's IT team and/or vendor partners to provide timely resolution. Designs and codes systems enhancement rules and configurations. Pre-test enhancement requests to identify defects and revise code/rules as needed. Works with Mortgage Project Lead in writing documentation for test plan/ script and test cases for major projects. Implements code changes/enhancements and major vendor system releases.
Utilize a help desk ticket tracking system to prioritize, monitor, document progress on projects/critical issues, software upgrades/releases and system enhancement requests.
Act as system lead in all major projects to determine system requirements, capability and additional IT resources that will be needed in the process. Will do preliminary system testing prior to user acceptance testing.
Performs periodic review of key mortgage systems to ensure optimal functionality is maintained. Will partner with mortgage business units to provide recommendations on efficiencies that can be systematically achieved. Will provide insight regarding changes that may affect other mortgage teams.
Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors, industry peers, credit union IT teams, and credit union management in order to manage technology projects, resources, data, security, and operations. This may include research, testing and implementation of new/emerging software.
Assists with oversight of daily department workflow. Provides input to manager on staff performance relating to technology but does not prepare or deliver reviews. Provides leadership and mentoring through subject matter expertise to Jr staff members.
