    Art of Problem Solving is looking for an Upper-Level Math Instructor to join their Virtual Campus team. This is a part-time position. The AoPS Academy Virtual Campus is an after-school and weekend enrichment option for students. Our Year-Round courses are offered late afternoons to evenings between 4pm ET and 10pm ET Monday through Friday and from 10am ET to 9pm ET on Sunday. This might be a good fit if you: Have experience competing in or teaching/tutoring students for middle and high school math contests such as: AMC, AIME, MATHCOUNTS, USA(J) MO, IMO Prefer student-led instruction, discussions, and allowing students to do the heavy lifting Foster an engaging classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem solving Are comfortable teaching in a live virtual classroom environment using software such as Zoom. For each lesson you will: Teach enthusiastic middle and high school students in our online classrooms. Use our curriculum to teach participation-oriented classes that focus on instruction and developing skills, not on rote memorization. Work in small classes (average size 12) with top performing students who are passionate about learning and are motivated to succeed. Requirements: A bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required. A master's degree or higher in a STEM field is preferred. Must have some experience teaching or tutoring students at the middle to high school level. Strongly preferred: Experience with middle and high school math contests such as: AMC, AIME, MATHCOUNTS, USA(J) MO, IMO, etc. Benefits and Compensation: The instructor rate at the Virtual Campus is $30/hour. The class rates represent flexible work time, 15 minutes early arrival immediately before class, and actual class time. Responsibilities: Attend Seasonal Staff Training (May 18-29, 2026) Implement outcomes-driven programming for the woodshop and other program areas as needed Modify and adapt all woodshop activities due to medical needs, psychosocial needs, and other variables Enforce all woodshop program safety rules Ensure that all equipment and supplies are safety stored, inspected, and maintained Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and Facilities Manager in the preparation, purchase order, and record-keeping of inventory of supplies in assigned areas Submit weekly woodshop plans to supervisor Support, lead, and evaluate woodshop volunteers Assist the Cabin Life team with maintaining appropriate supervision of campers, including providing overnight coverage in cabins as needed Requirements Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience Ability to move across camp grounds and between buildings and activity areas multiple times each day Ability to coordinate a multi-faceted program for campers aged 8-17 years with varying physical and developmental abilities Strong understanding of woodshop risk management and emergency planning while keeping safety first in all situations Ability to follow written and oral instructions Ability to support with program set up and tear down (including movement of materials up to 50 lbs.) Drawing and/or watercolor instructor wanted to teach art classes at the Michaels store in Reynoldsburg! This is a part-time, permanent position. This is a great opportunity for an artist who would like to be able to offer classes, but does not have their own studio space to do so.
