About the Role
To support our rapid growth and technological evolution, we are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our expanding IT team. We're hiring two Lead Software Engineers on our full-stack team: one who leans Front-End and one who leans Back-End. You'll own mission-critical services (RESTful APIs, data streaming, rules engines) across microservices, set technical standards, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product and data science. Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Mobile App Developer with extensive expertise in the Flutter framework and proficiency in Dart and Swift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of mobile app development, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor their peers.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development
Design, develop, and deploy high-quality mobile applications using the Flutter framework.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Dart for cross-platform development.
Utilize Swift to develop and maintain native iOS applications as needed.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Testing and Integration:
Implement comprehensive testing procedures, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of applications.
Collaboration and Innovation:
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Lead and mentor a team of junior developers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile app development.
Proactively suggest and implement improvements to the development process, tools, and methodologies.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in mobile app development.
2+ years of experience with the Flutter framework and Dart programming language.
Proficiency in Swift and native iOS development.
Proven track record of developing and releasing high-quality mobile applications.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with React & Angular
Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries and services.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
Knowledge of modern development tools and environments (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio, VS Code).
Annual Salary Range: $104,000-$123,000 with a generous benefits package that includes paid time off, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) savings plan with match
