Basic Functions and Physical Requirements

The Director is responsible for all employee supervision and administration of the Osage Nation Housing Department. Coordinates the operation of the Housing Department according to the laws, rules and regulations of the Osage Nation, Federal and State Rules and Regulations as per contractual and grant agreements. Interface and cooperates with Nation, commercial and government entities as necessary. The Housing Department will consist of programs and budgets for NAHASDA, ONHAP, HUD-VASH, the Voucher program, and Senior Housing.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Public Administration or Social Science is required.
At least five years' experience in related field required.
A combination of education (formal/vocational) and seven (5) years of experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree requirement.
A high-level of understanding of HUD and NAHASDA rules and regulations required.
A minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory capacity required.
Some past leadership training is required.
Must have a basic understanding of public administration, principles of management, fiscal management, statistical knowledge and research techniques.
Must have the ability to administer grants and reports.
