1989 – Opened Lehigh Valley Diagnostic Imaging (LVDI) in a joint venture with Lehigh Valley Hospital
graduated from Duke University in 1996 and then received his MD from Virginia Commonwealth University.
1999 – Became provider of radiology services at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, PA
He remained on the faculty at VCU as Assistant Professor of Radiology in the abdominal imaging section and director of genitourinary radiology for 10 years before joining Commonwealth Radiology in 2000.
2001 – Launched internal Nighthawk Program to address the growing needs of Lehigh Valley Hospital’s Emergency Department
He completed a fellowship in bone and joint imaging at University of Virginia and joined Commonwealth Radiology in July, 2005.
He served as a clinical instructor at Brown before joining Commonwealth Radiology in January 2006.
In 2006, TRA pioneered a new area of medical care–NeuroInterventional procedures.
2007 – Became provider of interventional radiology services at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg, PA.
Doctor Sleeker is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and has been with Commonwealth Radiology since 2008.
He went on to complete a fellowship in Breast Imaging at the University of Virginia and joined Commonwealth Radiology in July, 2009.
2012 – MILV develops dedicated Pediatric Radiology team in response to the unveiling of Lehigh Valley Children’s Hospital
2013 – Became provider of radiology services and management of outpatient imaging services at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital in Allentown, PA.
2014 – Became provider of radiology services at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown, PA
2014 – Merging of the two joint ventures to form Lehigh Valley Imaging, Inc.
2016 – Expanded IR service at Pocono Medical Center to include all imaging services.
On January 1, 2017, TRA Medical Imaging and Medical Imaging Northwest joined together to better serve the community.
During Residency, he served as a VC-ACR Board Member for two years and received both the UVA Radiology Research Resident of the Year and the Spencer B. Gay Service Award for Clinical Excellence in 2017.
By early 2018, all TRA facilities will offer 3D mammography.
