**General Responsibility:** Facilitate the movement of raw materials around the Die-Cutter. Operate the mechanical sheet feeder. Assist the Die-Cutter Operator with Make-Readies and maintain a running machine. Willingness to learn how to operate die-cutting press
**Daily Tasks:**
· Preps loads and stages for the Die-Cutting process.
· Assists the Die-Cutter operator with make readies
· Sets-up and operates the mechanical Die-Cutter feeder.
· Feeds material during machine run in a continuous, efficient manner.
· Inspects material for defects or damage.
· Moves cut loads to appropriate area for next step processing.
· Creates and affixes pallet tags which identify material, and job information.
· Performs other job duties as assigned.
**Requirements:**
· High school diploma or GED is preferred.
· Being mechanically inclined is preferred.
· Material handling experience is preferred.
· Printing or die cutting feeder experience is preferred.
· Can read and write instructions and correspondence.
· Can read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
· Can be trained to safely operate heavy material handling machinery (electric pallet jack, forklift, reach truck.)
· Be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
